The Challenge
Located on a waterproof rooftop, Mark and Carrie wanted a rooftop deck, but they didn’t want any penetration on the roof to ensure its waterproof nature. In addition, they wanted to ensure the design matched the surrounding beauty and desert colors. Lastly, Mark and Carrie wanted to ensure the deck height was sufficiently considered so that the last step coming up from the access stairs and on to the rooftop deck was an easy and natural one.
