Sometimes, the products that are supposed to stand the test of time have a one-off breakdown and need replacement. Stacey and Chris had this exact thing happen when a 7-year-old Trex deck began to show abnormal signs of wearing. In collaboration with Trex, HBC Decks came in and solved the problem and completed a Trex Warranty replacement for Stacey and Chris and returned the life back into their backyard pool and lounging deck sanctuary.

The Challenge
Stacey and Chris had installed a Trex deck about 7 years ago to complete their amazing poolside sanctuary. However, over time, they noticed something abnormal about how the deck was wearing. They wanted to figure out what could be done so they called our team at HBC Decks (we are Trex Certified Pros) to assess the situation.

Our focus at HBC Decks is to stand behind the work we do and the products we install (and even though in this case, we had nothing to do with the original Trex deck installation, it was a Trex product, and we wanted to support Stacey and Chris). After reviewing the wear and tear on their deck, and in coordination with our partner at Trex, we determined, indeed, the Trex boards they received seem to be defective (a very rare occurrence, but it happens from time to time). Working together, HBC Decks submitted a Trex warranty claim for Stacey and Chris and got them a brand-new deck.
